Trauma Team Leader (TTL) Course

Overview

This one day full immersion simulation course comprises of trauma scenarios that Trauma Team Leaders will be expected to manage.  The course aims to provides a framework for delegates to further develop their behavioural understanding, systems understanding, and leadership qualities to fulfil a leadership role in the trauma team.

Who should attend?

This course is for specialist registrars, specialist trainees, middle grades from all specialties who will be involved in managing and leading trauma.  Knowledge in the management of trauma patients and sufficient experience as a trauma team member is essential.  Prior completion of a trauma provider course (e.g. ATLS, ATNC, ETC) and the Trauma Team Members (TTM) course is required.  The course is also suitable for senior nursing staff (band 6 or above) who work alongside the team leader as an Advanced Trauma Team Member (ATTM).

Cost

The course is free for trainees and senior nursing staff employed at North, Central and East London NHS Trusts. Spaces are limited.

Please note: This is a pilot course, and it can only accommodate a maximum of 7 delegates only. The following limited places are available: - 5x doctors (ST4 and above only) - 2x nurses (Band 6 and above only) So places will be offered on a first come first serve basis.
