Silver Trauma Simulation Course 2019-2020


This FREE* simulation-based course at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust recognises the increase in ‘silver trauma’ or ‘geriatric trauma’ emerging as a high risk population group. Designed by King’s College NHS Foundation Trust and based on work from the Royal College of Emergency Medicine and Trauma Networks, this course aims to equip staff with the skills and knowledge required to improve survival and reduce the length of patients’ hospital stay and recovery.

This course will benefit all professional groups including Physiotherapists, Doctors, Occupational Therapist, Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Anaesthetists, Surgeons and Operating Department Practi-tioners who frequently provide care for patients over 65.

The Course FREE to UCLH and UCLP staff.
