UCLH Advanced Certificate in UDS

Overview

Learning Objectives:

  • To understand the basic philosophy of urodynamic studies (UDS)
  • To understand the basic physiological principles behind UDS
  • To acquired knowledge of the techniques of none invasive, simple, video and ambulatory urodynamics
  • To acquire the ability to perform UDS
  • To acquire the ability to interpret urodynamic traces and recognise and eliminate artefacts
  • To understand the role of UDS in investigating children, women, men and neurological patients with urological symptoms
  • To understand how to compose and interpret a urodynamic report

Experience required:  some basic urodynamic experience.
