5th UCLH Mental Capacity Act Conference


University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is proudly presenting our annual conference on the Mental Capacity Act for acute hospitals on Tuesday 20th February 2018 09:00 - 16:30 at the UCH Education Centre, 250 Euston Road, London NW1 2PG

The conference aims to widen knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and its application to support professionals and to advocate for patients who may lack capacity in the acute settings. This year’s theme is on supported decision making and best interest decisions.

Subject expert speakers will discuss case laws and case studies to provide insight to the MCA and to discuss proposed changes to the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).

The conference is kindly sponsored by NHS England and is free. Organisations will be allocated a restricted number of places so please book early. The event will start at 08:30 and close at 16:30.
